Donald “Donnie” Bobbit Jr.

Donnie’s career spans over 26 years in senior executive roles focused on financial services and financial and business operations management. He is currently CFO of Adams Beverages, the fifth-largest Anheuser-Busch distributor in the U.S. He is responsible for the coordination of all Adams financial activities and policies in addition to leadership of operational administration including finance, accounting, HR and IT.  

Prior to joining Adams, Donnie ran a consulting platform that provided senior-level financial and operational advisory services to public and private companies in the small- to mid-market segments. Prior to this, he teamed with Ted Rollins at Campus Crest Communities (NYSE: CCG) as Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer. While at CCG, Donnie lead the build-out of the corporate structure that scaled from private startup to the second largest student housing platform in the world. Additionally, he helped structure and close the largest merger in the student housing space of approximately $1.0b USD, expanding CCG’s footprint across 26 states and Canada. He also helped lead the company’s successful IPO in 2010 as well as raising over $2.0 billion in debt in addition to the $1 billion in equity over just an eight-year period.

Prior to this, Donnie had a 12-year career with Speedway Motorsports Inc., where he grew in progressively increasing levels of financial leadership positions as he participated in rapid-growth, startup operations and turnaround business operations. Prior to SMI, he was in the audit services practice at Deloitte in Charlotte, where he obtained experience participating in various equity and debt offerings of public and private companies.

Donnie received his BS from Wake Forest University, where he also played on the baseball team and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
