Scott Kinter

Scott Kinter is currently the Senior Vice President of East Coast Construction, responsible for AvalonBay’s new construction, redevelopment, and cap-ex operations on the East Coast. Scott has spent the last 25 years with AvalonBay in various managerial roles. Overseeing the construction and redevelopment of several thousand apartment homes in dozens of communities spread throughout the company’s East Coast Portfolio.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mass College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA. Scott currently serves on the Board of Boston’s Green Ribbon Commission and is an active member of the Climate Preparedness Group, developing shared strategies for fighting climate change in and around the city of Boston. He is a member of Associated Builders & Contractors, Builders Association of Greater Boston, the National Fire Protection Association and the ‘100’ Club of Massachusetts.
